FIRMST Spark is a new branch in FIRMST ecosystem dedicated to methodology of biomedical research and aimed to expand knowledge and skills of participants. During two days you will learn various subjects: from Statistics to COVID-19 Impact on science from best lectors around the globe. You also could attend Student Sessions and listen to exemplary Presentations or present your own.

 

One of the diamonds of Spark is Aquarium Session where you could participate in discussion with experts on given subject!

 

Everyone interested in science has an opportunity to prove themselves by taking part in the essay contest and the Aquarium Session! For participation, it is necessary to write a text in English on "COVID-19 impact on Surgery". The works will be reviewed by the SCC tutors (the Centre for scientific career, Sechenov University, Moscow), and then presented to world-class experts who have faced the consequences of COVID-19 in their daily practice.

ESSAY Competition for FIRMST: SPARK

The winners of the "COVID-19 impact on Surgery" program will have an opportunity to participate in an online discussion club in English. During the online club meeting, students can present their point of view, set out in the essay. Each participant will receive an assessment of performed presentation by our experts and have a chance to ask a question that occurred during its accomplishment. Participants will be able to express their ideas on current issues or also arrange for further cooperation with experts!

Deadline for Essay Competition: 14 February 2021

For those students who have chosen a therapeutic direction, there will be an opportunity to express themselves in another competition, which the FIRMST team will announce in the nearest future. 

 

In the end of Spark you will see 3 Presentations from Winners of Abstracts Contest and attend Panel Discussion dedicated to Milestones in Research Methodology.
