You are welcome to submit an abstract on any topic you are interested in. Please, note that the organizing committee defines the section that fits you most and can offer you to change the type of presentation (oral or poster).

What is an Oral Session ?

An oral session comprises scientific reports of participants (students, residents or young scientists under 35 years old) who submitted an abstract and was approved to present their work by the experts and the organizing committee

What is a Poster Session?

A participation in a poster session is a way to share the results of your scientific research (original research or review) with the experts and other participants. Similarly to an oral presentation, you are free to submit an abstract on any topic

What is a Video Section?

In this section pre-recorded endoscopic surgery is presented on video.

What is a Panel discussion?

A panel discussion is an interactive format of delivering lecture meeting the interests and scientific background of the audience. During the panel discussion 3-4 experts in the different fields of medical and allied sciences share facts, offer opinions and respond to the questions of the audience. All the audience will be able to answer test questions, making experts to focus on the most challenging aspects of the problem put forward at the panel discussion.

All the registered participants (presenting and non-presenting ones) are welcome to attend a panel discussion.

What do workshops imply?

Workshop is an educational platform where the tutors demonstrate basic practical skills essential for a given medical specialty or a field of science. All the participants are free to join any workshop and master their skills and consult experts.

How to become a participant of the FIRMST?

1. Submit your abstract until March 15, 2020;

2. Get an e-mail with the invitation to take part in the session (oral or poster) from the organizing committee not later than April 1;

Glossary

  • Expert is a leading specialist in his/her area of science.

  • Moderator is a person who holds a panel discussion.

  • Non-presenting participant is a person who doesn’t submit an abstract and doesn’t participate in the oral or a poster session but can attend all events of FIRMST and ask questions.

Presenting Participant (If selected) will pay only 50% of the Registration fee and can increase the Discount upto 70 % if the applicant successfully fulfills an Extra Task [Task 1 Only]

Non-presenting Participant can also apply for the Discount upto 70% if the applicant fulfills 3 Tasks according to the Rules.
